Abstract. Setyowati EA, Santoso S, Rokhmani, Rochmatino. 2022. Diversity and prevalence of endoparasites in domestic chickens across an elevation gradient. Biodiversitas 23: 3936-3942. The chicken farm is negatively affected by endoparasites, which decrease immunity, egg production, body weight. Although these effects are well understood large-scale farms, here we aimed to understand endoparasite diversity the context local-scale farms conducted Central Java, Indonesia, according elevation. Chickens were sampled from three villages each two regions; lowland Banyumas District highland Purbalingga. result showed that very low (H' index: 1.3065-1.3773) detected only four species (Ascaridia galli, Trichuris trichiura, Heterakis gallinarum (Nematoda), Raillietina sp. (Cestoda) among a sample 300 chickens. Endoparasite infection was significantly more prevalent (70%) than (48%,) (p < 0.05). Among found, A. galli most all samples (50.0±0.0% infections lowlands 23.7±1.15% highlands) second H. accounted for 38.3±7.64% highlands 15.3±0.58% lowlands. 35.0±5.0% 7.3±0.58% infections, T. trichiura 25.0±5.0 % 16.0±1.0%. rate within study area currently moderate mainly methods farm, our findings can serve as baseline controlling

development and implementation of an optimized control strategy for induction machine in an electric vehicle
in the area of automotive engineering there is a tendency to more electrification of power train. in this work control of an induction machine for the application of electric vehicle is investigated. through the changing operating point of the machine, adapting the rotor magnetization current seems to be useful to increase the machines efficiency. in the literature there are many approaches wh...

in current study, 63 samples of bat populations collected from differ regions were used for evaluating the geographic variations. twenty cranial and dental characters for traditional morphometric and landmarks method on the ventral, dorsal skull and mandible for geometry morphometric studies were used. statistical analyses of traditional morphometric and geometry morphometric data indicated low...
Nitrogen deposition and cycling across an elevation and vegetation gradient in southern Appalachian forests
We studied nitrogen (N) cycling pools and processes across vegetation and elevation gradients in. the southern Appalachian Mountains in SE USA. Measurements included bulk deposition input, watershed export, throughfall fluxes, litterfall, soil N pools and processes, and soil solution N. N deposition increased with elevation and ranged from 9.5 to 12.4 kg ha-' yr-'. In all sites canopies retaine...
متن کاملResource availability controls fungal diversity across a plant diversity gradient.
Despite decades of research, the ecological determinants of microbial diversity remain poorly understood. Here, we test two alternative hypotheses concerning the factors regulating fungal diversity in soil. The first states that higher levels of plant detritus production increase the supply of limiting resources (i.e. organic substrates) thereby increasing fungal diversity. Alternatively, great...
